  *PAINT ME* (Animated Chevy truck)

This is a "KIT" I made for truck-makers and truck painters who want their own animated truck. It's a late model chevy with a front-mounted engine/blower (no hood), open bed (no cover), open-tube frame, and a double-tube rollbar.

The body has already been blanked out in white paint, and is ready for repainting/modifying. Key areas like frame and rollbar colors are labeled on the .RAW files for easy color changes.

"DO NOT REPAINT" areas on the .RAW files are marked with red borders. These are for the animated belt/pulley. If you change these areas, then the animation may not work properly...

Add new parts like wings and stuff, put new wheels on it, throw a cow in the back, or leave it as it is...whatever...have fun with it.

          ****>IMPORTANT<****

If you are going to RELEASE a repainted version of this truck to the public, then please rename the .bin, .raw/.act, and .trk files to prevent conflicts with other people's repaints...These are the files you have to rename before release....

 Bin Model:
    chev_ani.bin

 Basic Textures: (repaint these)
    chv_ani1.raw
    chv_ani2.raw
    engine99.raw
    * .act files - same names as .raw files

 Truck file:
    chev_ani.trk

*There are also 4 .raw files used for the exhaust-flame animation. Don't repaint/rename these unless you know what you are doing, or else you might ruin the animated effect.

Animated Textures (DON'T repaint or rename)
     ppflm1.raw
     ppflm2.raw
     ppflm3.raw
     ppflm4.raw
     * .act files - same names as .raw files

You will need HexWorkShop to apply the new texture files, as the .bin is too large for MDMRE's TEXTURE REPLACER. If you can't figure out HexWorkShop (it's easy), then.... finish your repainting, zip up all the files (.bin,.raw,.act,.trk) and send them to me, and I will apply the new textures for you....

OR....by request, I can supply the truck in separate .bins too (body, frame, engine, rollbar, exhaust pipes, transfer-case) through email. This way, you can apply the newly renamed/repainted .RAW files to the .bins yourself with TEXTURE REPLACER, combine the .bins in BinEdit (use INSERT), and save it as a whole truck. The advantage of this method is that you still have the separate part .bins for future truck projects...including the ANIMATED ENGINE!

P.S. If this paint kit proves popular, I will make Ford and Dodge versions, and perhaps rear-engine versions...let me know thru email if you think this is a good idea, please...
